MUSD Partnership with LA County METRO GoPass Program! The Montebello Unified School District is excited to announce its strategic partnership with the Los Angeles County Metro to provide the GoPass Fareless System for all TK-12 students in the district! The GoPass Program helps students ride transit without the worry of paying fare. With a registered GoPass TAP card, students attending schools in the Montebello Unified School District can ride Metro and other participating systems to and from school, and for trips after school and on weekends.
Metrolink Student Adventure Pass! The Montebello Unified School District is excited to inform you about Metrolink's new Student Adventure Pass! The Student Adventure Pass allows all Montebello Unified School District students to take the Metrolink across six counties in Southern California for free. Metrolink will run this program for approximately six months.
Graduation Requirements for Transitional Kinder to 8th Grade (TK-8) Students We want to remind students and families about our new district graduation requirements so you can prepare for these upcoming changes that will take into effect in the 2023-2024 school year. Starting in the fall of 2023, all ninth grade students and future incoming ninth grade students will be required to meet a new set of graduation requirements that are aligned to university entrance coursework requirements known as the a-g courses. The Montebello Unified School District strives for every student to graduate from high school ready for college and career opportunities.
