La Merced Intermediate School

La Merced Intermediate School is located in the eastern region of Montebello and serves students in grades 6th through 8th following a traditional calendar. La Merced Intermediate currently has close to 1,000 students enrolled.
The school offers great programs such as Dual Immersion, AVID, GATE, Youth Cinema Project (YCP), and Music. The AYA education program, formerly known as ICES, is currently offered after school at LMI for tutoring, sports, art, theater, and mariachi.
